When I was younger, and I saw bird watchers (with their khaki clothes, binoculars, and clip boards) in films, I always thought they must be the most boring people in the world. Now I am one with the bird watchers. I love watching birds, and only wish I could see more of them.
On this site I will be able to look at birds. I know it's only on the computer, but I'm pretending I have the Khaki and binoculars.

Eared Dove--Zenaida auriculata

  1. lives in South America
  2. black marking over ears give the bird its name
  3. legs and feet are dark red
  4. mainly eats seeds
  5. shot down for sport (some hunters will shoot a thousand a day)
  6. is not endangered
