When I was younger, and I saw bird watchers (with their khaki clothes, binoculars, and clip boards) in films, I always thought they must be the most boring people in the world. Now I am one with the bird watchers. I love watching birds, and only wish I could see more of them.
On this site I will be able to look at birds. I know it's only on the computer, but I'm pretending I have the Khaki and binoculars.

Macaroni Penguin, Eudyptes chrysolophus

                 five things:
  1. very numerous-believed over nine million pairs
  2. largest part of diet is crustaceans--with some fish and other seafood thrown in
  3. sailors named the bird, not for the food, but for the same name of some individuals who dressed flamboyantly, (the yellow crest)
  4. though they normally lay two eggs, the first one is much smaller and it's believed the chick dies.
  5. though they are quite numerous, they are still rated as vulnerable since their number have greatly declined
